Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To see quotes, you only need to answer six questions: your gender, birth date, health level, tobacco use, how much coverage you want, and the term length. Your name, full address, and detailed health information are only requested if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They're the monthly premiums each carrier provides for the health tier you picked. Underwriting by the carrier may keep the same class, move you to a better one, or change it. Nothing shown here is a binding insurance offer or a guarantee of any specific premium.

What happens when I click Apply?

You provide your name, and the application is launched using the exact quote you selected. It then continues on the carrier's secure application system. You're free to stop and return anytime; all signatures are electronic. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages the application process.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies based on the carrier, your requested amount, and your health history. Carriers that offer immediate decisions can approve qualified applicants instantly; each quote specifies whether an exam is required, might be requested, or won't be needed.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that covers the years when your family or business would suffer most from your absence: a mortgage, young children, a business debt. Longer terms mean higher monthly payments but lock in your rate longer. You can compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options side by side in the tool.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote system doesn't gather your contact information, we don't buy or sell visitor data, and our site analytics don't use cookies. Check the privacy page for the complete rundown of what we do and don't collect.
